Denied Boarding?
Claim Over £500 >>
"Finding out if you could be owed over £500 in denied boarding compensation couldn't be easier."
One of the most frustrating (not to mention humiliating) things a traveller will endure is being denied a flight. Passengers are often prohibited from boarding even when they have not committed any wrongdoing, in which case Easyjet denied boarding compensation could be in order.
If you have been denied boarding an Easyjet flight in the past 6 years then you could claim compensation for your trouble. Why not apply online free to see if you can claim?
Easyjet is one of the UK’s leading carriers, with its goal being to become the “preferred short-haul airline” in Europe. They are known for their economy-class seating, and in fact have an all economy fleet. In addition, Easyjet recently announced a fare reduction for many destinations, making ticket prices lower than they were 20 years ago. Easyjet currently operates 788 routes to more than 100 airports throughout Europe, with plans to expand to even more locations in the near future.
Easyjet denied boarding compensation could be available if you were unable to board due to:
You may generally not obtain Easyjet refused boarding refunds if you were negligent in any way. This includes being late to the terminal or not having the right documentation with you when you arrive.
When faced with the problem of overbooking, airlines will typically ask for volunteers to postpone their flights. Volunteers are often rewarded with additional compensation such as extra “frequent flyer” miles or meal tickets for doing so. These individuals are typically not eligible for refused boarding refunds from Easyjet. When not enough people volunteer, Easyjet may randomly select passengers for bumping. These individuals may not be given quite as many perks, and may therefore be on the hook for additional meal and hotel expenses.
It is important to know what your rights are in the event you are refused boarding. You have the right to know why you are being denied so that you can take the appropriate actions to resolve the issue. It is important that you do not become belligerent or argumentative with airport staff, as being unruly can also become justification for being denied boarding. If accused of wrongdoing such as possessing contraband, it is important that you speak with an attorney to ensure your legal rights are not violated. Do not submit to questioning without an attorney present.
You may also be entitled to Easyjet denied boarding compensation. Easyjet representatives are unlikely to tell you this, nor are they likely to provide you with instructions for obtaining your refund. To obtain a refund, your flight must have been delayed by three hours or more at any time since 2009. Your flight must also have originated in the EU or have an EU airport as a final destination. Since Easyjet operates only within the European Union, all of its flights meet this last criteria.
Normally you would have to contact the airline directly in order to submit a claim. If you would rather avoid the hassle, you can allow us to assist you instead.
